Sunshade / Louvers

The sunshade, also called a “louver” in the UK, has the original function of modulating the brightness of buildings with glazed façades. However, over time, this architectural element has become more and more visible to the point of representing the visual identity of a site on its own. This is why some ambitious designers have decided to equip the sunscreen with a function that goes far beyond its original purpose. Working alongside them, Visotec teams had to imagine and design bright “louvers”. An innovative solution that has given building façades a distinctive lighting and colour identity.
