Background
In 1995, Ford's previous supplier filed for bankruptcy. The automotive manufacturer then called upon Visotec to take over. It was the beginning of a solid partnership, as Ford called upon us in 2002 to overhaul its institutional image. A "knock-out" operation to spread the new "Retail Look & Style" image, with more than 4000 sites implemented over 18 months.
Execution
Visotec provides dedicated contact points in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, and has stepped up its local project management teams. After series production by its French plant, Visotec duplicated its production line in 2006 in its second plant in Poland.
Focus
New software is born
It was during this collaboration that Visotec created the first online reporting software in the industry. We were able to give Ford's teams the ability to see in real time the progress of implementation in their new image, anywhere in the world.

Results
First of all, Visotec demonstrated its ability to take over the reins throughout Europe, without any downtime, when changing service providers. Subsequently, we met all the criteria of Ford's specifications, combining optimal product quality, industrial scale cost and reduced lead times. Thanks to this manufacturing and support capacity, unique in Europe, we have been a Ford supplier for more than 20 years.
