Background

Carrefour Property and the new real estate company Carmila launched a vast renovation programme across France to rejuvenate the shopping malls found in their shopping centre portfolio. The 3rd-largest property company in Europe wanted digital signage to create interactivity with clients in its retail spaces.

Execution

Lenoir Services, a company of Visotec Group, supported the brand, developing structures, helping with technical design and supporting the marketing tests. One of the key deliverables in this project was a hand-folded frame made to measure to integrate a touch screen or surface lighting. This frame had to stand up to significant traffic and daily maintenance. To meet the variety needs which this project entailed – supply of screens, software, network connection, etc. – we formed a company consortium.

Focus

A strong ability to adapt to project constraints

Seeing all the specifics in this project, we came up with a tailored response. By stockpiling, we became able to guarantee supply to each site within the shortest possible times. We developed furnishings with a unique design, but with dimensions that could vary depending on the specificities of each shopping centre. When we manufactured a mast to be integrated into the furniture design, it served as the opportunity to adapt the device to the electrical supply constraints from the ceiling. Lastly, we supported our client in managing information and publishing events with remote control.
